585 complaints in a month after PIP reform — 76 firms ordered to issue employment contracts
Within less than a month of new employment regulations taking effect, Poland's National Labour Inspectorate (PIP) received 585 complaints about the form of employment used by employers. In 76 cases, inspectors ordered companies to replace existing contracts with standard employment agreements. Business groups warn against undermining legal forms of cooperation, while experts note that the legal definition of an employment relationship remains imprecise.
