37 Polish municipalities train clerks to refuse same-sex marriage transcriptions

At least 37 Polish municipalities have paid for training sessions — funded from public budgets — teaching civil registry clerks how to refuse transcription of same-sex marriage certificates from abroad. The courses are endorsed by a journal accredited by the Ministry of Science. The initiative is part of a broader right-wing effort to block same-sex rights where the coalition government has failed to legislate.
