Solar eclipse in Spain to draw tourists and generate an estimated €360 million

Spain is preparing for a solar eclipse whose shadow path will cross the Balearic Islands, Catalonia and Galicia. The astronomical event is expected to draw thousands of tourists willing to pay premium prices for a good viewing spot. Independent Spanish consultancy International Financial Analysts (AFI) estimates that visitors will spend close to €360 million over the course of one week.
