Polish cities clamp down on e-scooters with speed limits and no-ride zones to protect pedestrians

Polish local authorities are increasingly restricting e-scooters by imposing speed limits, designated no-ride zones and pushing operators to make changes. Cities are also intensifying checks on riders. The driving force is pedestrian safety, which authorities say outweighs the few minutes saved by scooter users.
