Estonia greenlights Tallinn–Helsinki undersea tunnel project

Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna announced support for an undersea tunnel linking Tallinn and Helsinki beneath the Gulf of Finland. If built, it would be the world's longest undersea tunnel and a strategic corridor connecting the Baltic states to Arctic regions, also bringing Estonia and Finland closer to the rest of Europe.
