Pro-Assad singers' concerts cancelled across Syria after protests

Concerts by several musicians accused of backing former Syrian president Bashar al-Assad have been cancelled across Syria this summer. In Homs, residents tore down posters advertising shows by Mohamad Iskandar and Hossam Jneed. One of the artists publicly apologised for his past ties to the regime.
