Prosecutors seek return of case against PSL councillor who compared Nawrocki to Shrek

Polish prosecutors asked the court to return the case against a PSL local councillor charged with insulting President Karol Nawrocki. The councillor posted an image online last year depicting the head of state as the cartoon character Shrek. Prosecutors made an unexpected procedural move in the proceedings.
