Hungary cut power use due to low Danube — Magyar thanks citizens
Low water levels on the Danube forced Hungary to reduce output at the Paks nuclear power plant, requiring citizens to cut electricity consumption. Prime Minister Péter Magyar announced that voluntary reductions ensured the country's energy security. "We did it together," he wrote on Facebook.
