Jalapeños from Mexican grower linked to salmonella outbreak sickening 345 across US

At least 345 people across 27 US states have fallen ill from a salmonella outbreak traced to jalapeño peppers grown by a Mexican producer. The outbreak has hit Minnesota and Colorado hardest. Investigators have linked the bacterial strain to a specific grower in Mexico.
