Spider-Man 5 confirmed: Sony and Marvel say another sequel is coming

"Spider-Man: Brand New Day" has broken the opening-weekend record previously held since 2019 by "Avengers: Endgame." Sony Pictures chief Tom Rothman confirmed a fifth Spider-Man film is in the works, simply answering "Yes" when asked. Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige echoed the sentiment, saying "there are always plans," but hinted fans may have to wait a while for the next solo Spider-Man adventure with Tom Holland.
