Hungary cuts energy output due to heatwave — Poland says its grid is secure

Energy problems in Hungary and other neighbouring countries caused by heatwaves pose no threat to Poland's power grid, the Ministry of Energy declared on Monday. Poland has emergency tools at its disposal, including the capacity market, which was already activated once this year. The ministry stressed that national energy security remains intact.
