Hungary's Paks nuclear plant may run at reduced capacity until Tuesday due to low Danube levels
Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar announced that the Paks nuclear power plant could operate at reduced capacity until Monday or Tuesday due to dangerously low water levels in the Danube, which cools the facility. A complete shutdown remains a possibility. Defence24.pl expert Mariusz Marszałkowski described the situation as "an extremely rare case" and assured that the shutdown and restart procedures are safe.
