Warsaw marks 82nd anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising with a minute of silence at 5 p.m.
At 5 p.m. on Saturday, sirens sounded across Warsaw to mark the 82nd anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising. Trams, buses, the metro and pedestrians came to a standstill for one minute. Tens of thousands of people joined a march organised by Robert Bąkiewicz, chanting slogans referencing the fight against the Germans.
