Warsaw marks 82nd anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising at Gloria Victis

At 5 p.m. — the "W-hour" — sirens sounded across Warsaw as the city marked the 82nd anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising at the Gloria Victis monument in the Powązki Military Cemetery. President Karol Nawrocki, Senate Marshal Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska, veterans and residents paid tribute to the uprising's fighters. The ceremony served as the central event of this year's commemorations.
