Zofia Czerwińska survived the Warsaw Uprising as a child — saved by a Gestapo dog

On the 82nd anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, the story of actress Zofia Czerwińska is being recalled. Known for her roles in "Alternatywy 4" and "Czterdziestolatek", she survived the 1944 uprising as an 11-year-old girl. Her life was saved by a dog that had previously been trained by the Gestapo.
