Warsaw Rising anniversary: Nawrocki and Trzaskowski at ceremony

A commemoration ceremony was held at Plac Krasińskich in Warsaw on the eve of the 82nd anniversary of the Warsaw Rising. President Karol Nawrocki stressed the 1944 uprising was an expression of the desire for freedom, not impulsive romanticism. Mayor Rafał Trzaskowski made a pointed remark that "we don't need mythology" in relation to how the uprising is remembered.
