Milton Group was an international criminal network dismantled by authorities that defrauded thousands of people of hundreds or thousands of euros by posing as legitimate investment platforms. Victims only realised they had been scammed once their funds disappeared. The network was so brazen that one of its arms sponsored a Spanish football club.
