February 2026 ECJ ruling strengthens WIBOR protection in Polish courts

The Court of Justice of the EU issued a ruling on 12 February 2026 that confirmed and strengthened the existing line of judgments favourable to the WIBOR benchmark rate. The latest final rulings from Polish courts show that WIBOR-related disputes are increasingly being decided in favour of the indicator and banks rather than borrowers.
