Famed 'Odyssey' Translator on Nolan's Film: "I Would Be Ashamed"

A celebrated translator of Homer's Odyssey has publicly criticised Christopher Nolan's upcoming film adaptation, stating she "would be ashamed" of it. She acknowledged that Nolan cited her translation of the poem's opening line — "Tell me about a complicated man" — in at least one interview. Despite that acknowledgment, she expressed strong disapproval of the film.
