French wildfires threaten Dassault, Thales and ArianeGroup defence sites

Wildfires in the Gironde region of southwestern France have burned more than 42,000 hectares and destroyed at least 240 homes. The flames are advancing towards Bordeaux and now threaten some of France's most sensitive defence and aerospace industry sites, including facilities belonging to Dassault, Thales and ArianeGroup. Authorities warn the situation remains serious.
