FDA Panel Backs Compounding of Epitalon, Rejects Emideltide

An FDA advisory panel on Friday recommended that compounding pharmacies be allowed to manufacture the peptide epitalon, but narrowly voted against allowing compounding of emideltide. The decisions follow Thursday's panel vote to allow four other peptides to be compounded. The moves bring Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. closer to his goal of making unapproved peptide compounds more widely available to Americans.
