Amorgos: the quiet Cycladic island tourists still haven't discovered
Amorgos, a roughly 127 km² island in the Aegean Sea east of Naxos, remains far less crowded than Santorini, Mykonos or Crete. Its rugged, mountainous landscape features whitewashed hilltop villages, small bays with clear water and cliff-top hiking trails. The island is popular mainly with Greek visitors and is considered one of the quietest destinations in the Cyclades.
