AI-generated content must be labelled by law from 2 August 2026

From 2 August 2026, new regulations will require publishers to disclose the use of artificial intelligence in content creation and to label AI-generated material. The rules stem from EU law and are analysed by lawyer Teresa Siudem. They will apply to a broad range of entities publishing digital content.
