Self-employed Poles can skip one month of ZUS contributions, saving nearly 2,000 zł

Polish self-employed individuals can skip social insurance contributions for one chosen month per year by filing a simple application with ZUS. The saving amounts to up to 1,926.76 zł while the business continues to operate normally. A few formal conditions must be met to qualify for the exemption.
