Nvidia Rubin servers set to devour record amounts of NAND storage

Nvidia's new context memory storage (CMX) technology, arriving with its Rubin AI servers later this year, packs 576 SSDs per unit for a total of 9,600 TB of storage. Industry analysts forecast that NAND demand for CMX will surge from 35 million TB this year to over 100 million TB in 2026. Analyst Jukan warns the Rubin platform will absorb any new supply of NAND as fast as it becomes available.
