Poland's GIS recalls sliced pork ham contaminated with listeria

Poland's Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS) has issued a public warning and ordered the recall of a batch of sliced pork ham in which Listeria monocytogenes bacteria was detected. Consuming the contaminated product may cause listeriosis, a potentially serious bacterial infection. The GIS did not disclose the producer's name or the product brand.
