Polish watchdog accuses AAA Auto of forcing GPS trackers on car loan buyers
Poland's Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) has charged used-car dealer Autocentrum AAA Auto with violating consumers' collective interests. The regulator says the company made car loan approval conditional on customers purchasing a GPS vehicle tracker — an unlawful tied-selling practice. Buyers were effectively forced to pay additional, imposed costs to secure financing.
