Fake B2B contracts face 60,000 zł fines as labour inspectors get new powers

Poland's reformed State Labour Inspectorate (PIP) now has the power to reclassify bogus B2B contracts and precarious "junk" contracts as full employment. Violations can result in fines of up to 60,000 zł. The chief labour inspector has sought to reassure business owners, stating the new rules target genuine abuses rather than legitimate self-employment. Inspectors will focus particularly on three industries most prone to irregularities.
