Lawsuit Alleges Meta Used AI to Illegally Fire Pregnant and Disabled Employees

Former Meta employees have filed a lawsuit alleging the company used an AI system to illegally penalise and dismiss workers who took medical leave, including pregnant women and people with disabilities. The plaintiffs claim the algorithm targeted those on legally protected leave in violation of employment law. Meta has not publicly commented on the allegations.
