Zelensky to Open All Ukrainian Archives on Volhynia Massacre
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that all Ukrainian archives relating to the Volhynia massacre will be opened to Poland, and that the number of permits for searches and exhumations of victims will be increased. He emphasised Ukraine's gratitude to Poland for its strong support since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion. The move is a significant gesture in Polish-Ukrainian relations, long strained by the memory of the 1943–1945 Volhynia massacres.
