SPF clogs pores in summer — double cleansing prevents breakouts
In summer, residues from SPF creams mix with sweat and sebum, clogging pores and triggering blackheads and breakouts. The solution is double cleansing: first a micellar water (e.g. Garnier or Clarena) to dissolve sunscreen and make-up, then an oil-based syndet such as Dermedic to remove remaining residue without damaging the skin's hydrolipidic barrier.
