Journalist stabbed in Iran-linked attack calls UK's IRGC ban "the happiest day"
British-Iranian journalist Pouria Zeraati, who was stabbed in 2024 in what is believed to have been an Iranian state-sponsored attack, welcomed the UK government's move to crack down on the IRGC, calling it "the happiest day." The UK has moved to proscribe the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps following a series of alleged Iranian operations on British soil. Zeraati has been a prominent critic of the Iranian regime.
