July 22 March of Remembrance to honour unsung heroines of Warsaw Ghetto

The 15th annual March of Remembrance will take place on 22 July in Warsaw, this year dedicated to the anonymous women of the Warsaw Ghetto. These women did not bear arms or lead uprisings, but fought daily to ensure the survival of their children, families and a semblance of normal life. Their stories have largely been overlooked by history books despite their crucial role in everyday resistance.
