Polish Supreme Court: bank overcharged CHF borrowers by PLN 40,000

Poland's Supreme Court has upheld a complaint by the Financial Ombudsman in a case involving a Swiss franc mortgage, in which a bank overcharged borrowers by PLN 40,000. The case concerned a loan agreement with an annex that allowed borrowers to purchase Swiss francs independently and use them to repay instalments. The ruling may set a precedent for other CHF borrowers with similar loan annexes.
