Canned Peaches Contain 23 Teaspoons of Sugar Per Can, Warns Expert
Food journalist Katarzyna Bosacka warns that canned peaches — widely regarded as a healthy snack — contain as many as 23 teaspoons of sugar per can. The sugar comes not from the fruit itself but from the sweet syrup in which the peaches are packed. Despite this, the product remains extremely popular in Poland.
