Nitrogen fertiliser prices up 50% in a year — food costs at risk

European nitrogen fertiliser prices have surged more than 50% in a year, driven by the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and EU CO2 emission regulations. Poland's Federation of Agricultural Producer Associations (FBZPR) warns the higher costs will lead to lower crop yields next year.
