The Direct Connection package boosts the truckโs off-road credentials.
Roush has included new coilover suspension and 18-inch wheels.
Several exterior and interior tweaks have also been made to the truck.
Just a few weeks after Roush teased a shadowy image of a mystery Ram , the tuner famous for working over Ford products has pulled the covers off its latest creation. It wears the name Ram Direct Connection by Roush. Granted, it doesnโt have the most evocative moniker, but it does have plenty to get excited about.

The build is based on the 2027 Ram 1500 Big Horn Crew Cab 4ร4 with the 5.7-liter naturally aspirated Hemi V8, which delivers 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque, and another 130 lb-ft of launch torque on tap from the eTorque system. The package will set shoppers back $15,995, or $78,960 when you factor in the price of the truck itself.

For the money, buyers will receive a new Roush Performance coilover suspension designed to improve both on- and off-road performance. A new set of 18-inch wheels with 33-inch General Tire Grabber A/TX tires has also been added, ensuring no one confuses this with any regular Ram.

A Baby TRX Without The Power
It also adds an active cat-back performance exhaust with black exhaust tips to give that beloved Hemi V8 a more guttural tone. Should an owner want a quieter experience on the highway, the exhaust flaps can be closed at the press of a button.
Other upgrades include several styling tweaks, including aggressive hood vents with hood graphics, fender flares with clearance lighting, a special red RAM emblem in the front grille, distinctive badging, and USA flag graphics on the sides of the bed. It doesnโt look as mean as a TRX SRT , but itโs getting there. Roush has also added a 3.92 rear axle, ELocker, skid plates, trailer brake controller, and an available Trailer Tow Package. Completing the changes are some interior tweaks, like branded floor mats and badging.
All of Roushโs parts are covered by a 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty. Roush has also confirmed itโs working on its own supercharger kit for the Ram 1500, so things are about to get even more exciting.
