Polish Education Ministry to create Student Ombudsman despite Nawrocki's veto
Education Minister Barbara Nowacka announced that the ministry will bypass President Karol Nawrocki's veto and establish a Student Rights Ombudsman through internal ministerial procedures. Nowacka criticised the presidential office, saying "nobody reads or understands" there. She also said the sexual component of the health education subject will be made optional to avoid disputes in schools.
