Mindfulness isn't one-size-fits-all – adapted methods for neurodivergent people
Mindfulness is widely promoted as a universal stress-reduction tool, but that framing can be exclusionary — especially for neurodivergent people such as those with ADHD or autism. When standard techniques fail, practitioners are often left feeling at fault. Adapted, evidence-based approaches exist that better suit different neurological profiles.
