Exhumations begin in Ostrówki and Wola Ostrowiecka – remains of nearly 700 Poles found
From 13 July to 7 August, exhumation and reburial work will be carried out in the former Ukrainian villages of Ostrówki and Wola Ostrowiecka on Volhynia, where Poles were massacred in August 1943. The remains of nearly 700 Polish victims have been found there to date. The Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance announced the schedule on Friday.
