Heat-work regulation signed but won't take effect until winter

Labour Minister Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk has signed a regulation requiring outdoor work to be suspended when temperatures exceed 32°C, and indoor work above 35°C. Despite being signed during a summer heatwave, the rules will not come into force for another six months — in the middle of winter. The regulation is designed to protect workers from extreme heat.
