Food Price Inflation Slows to 2.7% in June as Discount Stores Compete

According to a report by UCE Research and the University of Merito, the cost of everyday shopping rose by 2.7% year-on-year in June, down from 3.4% in May and 3.7% in April. The slowdown is most visible in food prices, driven largely by fierce competition between discount supermarket chains in Poland.
