Polish food inspectors find 60% of venues mislabelled "artisan" ice cream

Poland's Agricultural and Food Quality Inspection (IJHARS) has completed a quality audit of ice cream sold in food service venues across the country. Labelling irregularities were the most common problem, found at 60% of inspected businesses. Ice cream marketed as "artisan" frequently turned out to come from wholesale suppliers rather than local craftsmen.
