CJEU: Refusing Vaccination Is Not a Protected "Belief" Under Anti-Discrimination Law

The Court of Justice of the EU has ruled that the concept of "beliefs" under anti-discrimination law does not cover views on public health or scientific matters, such as vaccine refusal. The ruling means an employee dismissed for refusing vaccination cannot successfully claim discrimination on grounds of belief.
