Łemko Region: Poland's Unspoiled Land With Unique Cuisine
The Łemko region in southern Poland is one of the few areas that has resisted mass tourism and retained its authentic character. It is known for its traditional cuisine, including kiesełycia — oat sour soup with potatoes — and homiłki, balls of cottage cheese mixed with mint, dried in a bread oven.
