Marvel Earns First Acting Emmy Nomination in Five Years

A few years ago, when Marvel Studios underwent a full retooling of the brand, confirming that it would focus more on quality and less on quantity, many fans thought this would mean fewer shows and movies to watch each year. This hasn’t exactly been the case, as 2025 brought on three feature films with Captain America: Brave New World , Thunderbolts* , and The Fantastic Four: First Steps , and Marvel is gearing up for a big year with the two new releases coming soon. The first Marvel movie of 2026, Spider-Man: Brand New Day , arrives in just a few weeks on July 31, and it’s expected to act as a catalyst for the final Marvel release of 2026, Avengers: Doomsday . The franchise has been busy dropping multiple new seasons of TV shows in the middle of all the movie madness.
