Poland's Labour Inspectorate can now reclassify sham B2B contracts as employment

Poland's State Labour Inspectorate (PIP) gained new powers from Wednesday allowing it to reclassify sham civil-law contracts and B2B agreements as employment contracts. Chief Labour Inspector Janusz Krasoń pledged that every complaint in this area will be thoroughly investigated. The reform targets the widespread practice of bogus self-employment.
