Polish Labour Inspectorate gains power to reclassify B2B contracts as employment

New regulations reforming Poland's State Labour Inspectorate (PIP) took effect Wednesday. Inspectors now have the authority to reclassify sham civil-law contracts and B2B arrangements as full employment contracts. The changes aim to strengthen worker protections but have faced months of opposition from some business owners.
