Russell admits he must improve to stay in championship fight

George Russell has openly admitted that he needs to perform better if he is to remain a genuine title contender in the current Formula 1 season. The Mercedes driver assessed his form so far as insufficient to challenge for the championship. He did not specify which areas of his driving or team performance he intends to improve.
