New Polish law lets labour inspectors reclassify sham B2B and freelance contracts

A new law strengthening Poland's State Labour Inspectorate (PIP) took effect today, granting inspectors the power to reclassify sham freelance and B2B contracts as standard employment contracts. The legislation came into force just days after a leadership change at PIP. The new chief has signalled that every complaint will be investigated.
